The Construction Leadership Council (CLC), National Highways and contractors including Vinci and Skanska have backed the launch of a new tool for construction firms to benchmark their knowledge of fairness, inclusion and respect (FIR).
Devised by the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS), the FIR Growth Assessment aims to help construction managers recognise their best practice and highlights areas for improvement.
On completion of the assessment, a tailored learning plan is automatically created for companies, providing direct free access to the learning resources of the FIR Programme.
The CLC endorsed the assessment as part of its skills plan objective of developing a more diverse and innovative industry. Use of the tool will help deliver CLC’s commitment to support 3,000 construction companies promote a culture of fairness, inclusion and respect by 2025.
