Northumbrian Water Ltd has alerted contractors to its suite of frameworks covering the Northumbrian Water and Essex and Suffolk operating areas.
The water services firm is seeking expressions of interest to join its frameworks worth a combined £288M.
There are 10 lots in total, split by geographical location and type of work. For each lot, Northumbrian Water expects to shortlist five bidders.
Work across the 10 lots includes:
- Network improvements
- Backfill and reinstatement work
- Repairs and maintenance
- Consequential damage work
- Supply pipe renewals
The procurement process will consist of a pre-qualification process to shortlist candidates. A contract notice adds that “shortlisted candidates will then progress to tender stage and award(s) will be based on the most economically advantageous offer(s) consisting of both quality and cost elements.”
The initial frameworks term will be four years with the option to extend for up to an additional four years.
Expressions of interest must be sent to AMPS7@nwl.co.uk before the deadline date of Monday 13th June 2022.
